Princess Mei from the Risha Tribe

Character: Mei.
Series: Kyoryuu Sentai Zyuranger.
Character Age: 18.
Canon: During the Stone Age, there lived five human tribes that coexisted in harmony with the dinosaurs. Things were great until the peace was disrupted by Bandora when she caught wind of her son, Kai, being killed unfairly. And so, to make the tribes pay, they were thrust into a war that ended with Bandora and her lackeys being sealed away. Well, this was until the tomb was found again hundreds of years later and the seal unbroken, unleashing her evil upon the world. Humanity’s hope against this evil woman are the Zyurangers and they’ve been summoned to fight once more!

Mei, the former princess of the Risha Tribe as well as Ptera Ranger, is as kind as she is just with a large sense of responsibility that stems from her duty as a Zyuranger. Mei’s keen intellect and wit aids her in both battle and in everyday things. However, her kind and compassionate heart serves her well in being the glue that holds the team together, always trying to ease people’s concerns and worries when it’s needed. That being said, she strives to help others make the right choices, even if it’s someone that she just met. Another facet is that Mei is exceptionally crafty, what with being able to dress up to fool any of her enemies. This craftiness goes into her fighting as she makes sure to let her voice, or rather her weapons, be heard. She’s not a pushover, however, and fights back when needed. All in all, Mei definitely makes sure that her duty comes first and to go at every day as much as she can.

I wasn’t looking where I was going, but I want to say that I think you are quite the beautiful creature. In fact, you remind me of some of the creatures from way back. Who knows, maybe you’re one of them, too, or they’re your ancestors. Wouldn’t that be neat if it was true? But, I’m sure you and I both know that it’s improper to ask a lady her age.

I’m glad to see that you agree with me! That makes me really happy to know because it means that we’re getting somewhere here. Let’s see, what else can I help you with? ...Ah! That’s right! Your confidence when it comes to making friends. As I’ve seen, you come off as pretty strong, which can intimidate people and your aquatic friends. Perhaps you can tone it down by letting them warm up to you! You don’t have to always initiate contact with them. I know that it might seem difficult right now, but with enough time, you can be a great squid and a great companion for anyone. Why, I think that if you put your mind to anything, you can soon take this camp by storm.

… which, I don’t mean literally, but hopefully you get the point, Miss Marcy. Ah... No, remember what I said! We don’t pick up our friends and try to splash them with water! But, I suppose that if anyone talks to you, you get excited, hm? Well, I promise to keep on talking with you as long as I’m here as long as you promise to not lift me up in the air anymore. Maybe we can find some other aquatic creatures so that you can splash as long as you like and as much as you like! Wouldn’t you like that? ...like that fish there. He’d like to be your friend--hey, wait! Fish are as much as friends as I am to you! We don’t need to eat them!
